Wanda Colón is an actor and designer known for bringing boundless energy and style to her projects. Fans were introduced to her lively personality as co-host of HGTV’s 24 Hour Design and have seen her work featured on HGTV’s Designers’ Challenge, Rate My Space and Designing for the Sexes. Along with the popular 24 Hour Design Wanda can currently be seen co-hosting TLC’s Home Made Simple. She is also working on a project with Jake Steinfeld, creator of the “Body by Jake” fitness franchise.

Wanda’s design principles focus on the individual, looking for opportunities to incorporate local art and found pieces into projects as a way to reveal the unique style of her clients. She began her design career in Los Angeles when she landed a job with the award winning design firm Interior Motives. Her passion for design led to the launch of her own company, The Piper Decorative Artisans, a business that continues to thrive with work commissioned by celebrity clients like Kelsey Grammar, Paul Stanley, Cher and Joanna Carson.

Wanda honed her skills as an actor, set designer and playwright for productions in Philadelphia. At a young age, she was
selected to study theater at Oxford University and landed the roles of Eliza in Pygmalion and Eleanor in Sense and Sensibility. Upon returning to the States, she found work as a host for a Philadelphia magazine-style talk show and appeared in several films including M. Night Shyamalan’s Unbreakable and Steve Buscemi’s Animal Factory. She has written two screenplays and her production company has produced its first feature.

Wanda resides in Los Angeles and is currently working on a series of art pieces to be exhibited at a local gallery later this year.
